In September 2009, Jeroen Kuiper`s first book came out in The Netherlands: `Het andere Duitsland. De voormalige DDR 20 jaar na de val van De Muur.´

The more-than-200-pages book contains eighteen in-depth features of nowadays- Eastern Germany, giving an insight in the hopes, dreams, fears, problems and realities of Eastern Germans twenty years after the fall of the Berlin Wall in November 1989. The book includes 30 beautiful full-colour pictures of my favourite photographer: Ronald de Hommel, with whom I am frequently working across Europe and Latin America.
